An Indian Civilizational Perspective

Hurray, RSS Feeds of My Blog Touch 200!!!

Ok, today my blog reached a milestone – the number of folks tracking my blog posts through the RSS readers touched 200 tonight! Its a great achievement since the time I started this blog last year on drupal. A substantial blog posts that I did in the last couple of years are still in my b2E blog.. so when just this goes to that level – its an achievement!!

If you are reading this on your RSS reader and have a minute to spare – pls drop me a word (mail@drishtikone.com) on the good and bad points of my blog posts! Do they help you in any way.. are they useful? What do you think of the topics etc. It will help me a great deal to fine tune my writing and presentation!

Of course, if any of you have anything that you would like to share with the audience at large – please feel free to be my guest! Its an open platform .. so all are welcome!

Cheers,
-d.

    fellas,
I am an avid reader.but this practise had been suspended quite some time ago owing to what is known as “life” wherein you have to have “priorties” which have to be decided at all times. But when i decided to take up reading again, the first book i laid my hands on was the “Da Vinci Code”.I was a bit sluggish to taKe off but once i got going it was difficult to put it aside. The book strewn with interesting points/fiction/interpretations intertwined with history. It’s entire length of 489 pages is full of twists and the no letup till the very last page.A good book,a must for readers.
    good reading,
    jeshi.

    Hey Jeshi:

Why dont you write a synopsis/review of the book and post it as a book review? If you can write it and email it.. I will post it here…

The Da VInci Code by Dan Brown hd been written on the premise that Jesus Christ has married Mary Magdalene and had a lineage which was alive and kicking.Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh had written a non fiction book in 1982 by the name “The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail” and had filed a case alleging that Dan Brown had lifted their code for The Da vinci Code. But the London High court has said that Dan Brown had not lifted the code from the Holy blood and the Holy Grail. This has lifted the tension over the whole issue.Infact this suit had challanged the concept that Copyright protects the expression of an idea rather than the idea itself.
so much for plagrism.but i would still advocate reading this book.
