An Indian Civilizational Perspective

Hizb-ul-Mujahideen clarifies that Kashmir Jehad is Pakistan’s War afterall

When you nourish a monster as a cannibal, one day he might want to eat you up.  That is the situation between Jehadis and Pakistan establishment.

Pakistan has created the Jehadi monster for Kashmir and falsified its “my heart beats for Kashmiris” credo over the decades.  But the world knew better.  Specifically India.

Now, Syed Salahuddin the Chief of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen has laid things out as they are.  Pakistan, due to the changed circumstances and pressure of US, is trying to talk peace with India on Kashmir.  Now, that may be good for many people, including Kashmiris, but that puts these Jehadis out of payroll.  Its a “layoff” situation for these monsters.  Their masters don’t want to pay them anymore.  For these monsters, Peace is a bad business environment.

So what do they do?  They threaten their Master.  If you stop giving us “meat”, we will feed on you!  Most importantly, Salahuddin clarified in no uncertain terms that the Kashmir Jehad was “Pakistan’s War” and not Kashmiris by per se!

“We are fighting Pakistan’s war in Kashmir and if it withdraws its support, the war would be fought inside Pakistan,” said Salahuddin, who also heads the Muttahida Jihad Council, a grouping of terrorist organisations based in Pakistan.

Talking to Arab News, he expressed why he was “desperate and agitated” with the Peace dialog.  Ever since the Zia-ul-Haq time, when Aslam Beg and Hamid Gul came up with their brilliant “Strategic Depth” theory and with the continuation of the entire strategy during Musharraf’s era.  Now, given the state of penury in Pakistan, this is no longer sustainable economically, so the fissures are bound to increase more and more.

As they say in US, “Now Go deal with your shit, Smart Ass!!”
