Bengal Gangrape Pandemic: Mamata Banerjee's Reign of Tyranny Where Rape is a Political Weapon

Kolkata Gangrape and Murder case and the subsequent batting for the criminals by the entire administration, including the Chief Minister, was not an exception in West Bengal. It is a pandemic!

Bengal Gangrape Pandemic: Mamata Banerjee's Reign of Tyranny Where Rape is a Political Weapon
“So we drove on toward death through the cooling twilight.” ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

Once, a teacher entered the classroom. Without a word, he took a fish from its bowl and placed it on the ground, where it began to flop about, gasping for life.

The teacher then threateningly warned the whole class:

“Anyone who rises from their seat will be expelled.”

The students sat in silence, their eyes fixed on the struggling fish. Fear of punishment held them in place, and they did nothing, though their hearts ached for the fish.

You see, the price to be paid for one's humanity was more than their conscience would allow them to disregard.

So the fish was to die while they watched.

After some time, one girl could no longer bear the sight.

She rose from her seat, lifted the fish, and returned it to the bowl.

She alone defied the order.

When the teacher returned, he said,

“In life, fear may bind you to the path of inaction, but righteousness will demand that you act. Do not let fear silence your heart. Sometimes, you must stand against the tide of authority and the weight of collective silence to do what is right.”

When the authorities and the dictatorial regimes work brazenly to silence some, all should rise.

If the entire class had risen to save the fish, would the teacher (even if she really desired so) have suspended everyone?

There is a fear that stems from the collective debilitation that paralyzes everyone's humanity.

However, if the masses go beyond that fear and recognize the power of a collective voice, then the tyrant can be stopped in her tracks.

As the terrible reign of tyranny remains relentless in West Bengal, the only way to fight back is your voice.

Everyone's voice.

Collective voice.

A voice that demands the fundamental right to life. And dignity.

When the feminine is under attack, then it is an attack on our combined consciousness.

That one is a male or a female may be a fact. That you are both - masculine and feminine (because inputs of both sides went into your conception) is the truth.

Normalizing the use of women as an instrument of war is not just our collective shame, it is our collective crime!

Understanding the Problem Statement

The Kolkata rape and murder case is a devastating reminder of the depths of human cruelty. Cases like Nirbhaya and Kamduni are similarly horrific.

However, it’s a grave mistake to take these isolated incidents and condemn an entire society.

In a country of 1.4 billion people, one heinous act cannot define the whole population.

Consider the United States, where countless murders and rapes by deeply disturbed individuals occur. Over 50,000 children are trafficked for sexual exploitation in the U.S. every year, and globally, that figure rises to 300,000, with the average age of these victims being just 12-14 years. Yet, does anyone define American society by these monstrous acts? Most people dismiss them as the work of a few deranged individuals.

So why is it that in India, one horrific incident is used to judge the entire society and its men? Yes, these crimes are abhorrent, but such evil and sickness are not unique to Indians—they are a stain on humanity as a whole.

What truly matters is how these crimes are handled, and in this regard, Indian politicians, particularly in West Bengal, have failed miserably. In 2013, Kamduni shocked the nation, and now we face another atrocity with chilling similarities in the actions of the criminals, the investigative authorities, and the state leadership. The cruelty of the criminals is compounded by the complicity of the state and judiciary. The Indian judiciary, in particular, becomes disturbingly impotent in such cases. Remember how one of the rapist murderers was let off because he was classified as a "minor" based on a madrasa certificate? The judiciary is well aware of these manipulations, yet it continues to allow such travesties to unfold, betraying the Indian citizens it is supposed to protect.

One day, one hopes the people of India will demand answers from the judiciary: "What are you really providing us?"

The total number of Indian households in 2022 are 315 million. The total Middle-class households in India = 97.3 million. The total number of poor households in India are roughly 79 million. So, total number of households that are above poverty are around 236 million. If you assume that the very poor households would not necessarily be involved in litigation, - with 51 million pending cases - at the very least one in very 4.6 households is impacted cases pending in the courts today. Here one is assuming that even commercial cases will have an impact on at least one household. In reality, every court case impacts more than one households.

With 52 million cases pending—meaning every fifth family in the country has a pending case that could consume generations—the judges continue to enjoy their privileges, taking vacations and living in luxury, while the common person is left to struggle against crime and injustice.

This is the true defining feature of Indian society—not that in a population of 1.4 billion, there are 1-5% truly sick criminals, but that there is institutional support for these criminals that should shame every Indian. And even more shameful is that Indians continue to elect these leaders into power, despite their repeated, relentless, and unceasing savagery.

That is the real problem statement above and beyond all these narrations and heart-bleeding poetic expressions that are proliferating across the country.

The Kolkata Savagery

A 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor was gangraped and murdered inside a seminar hall at the state-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9, 2024. The victim was a 31-year-old postgraduate trainee doctor. She had fallen asleep in the seminar room after a grueling 36-hour shift due to the absence of proper rest areas.

The West Bengal police arrested Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer, as the "prime suspect" in the case.

The obvious question for everyone is - Is he a fall guy?

Why because the torture and the "allegations" (given the botching, tampering and destruction of evidence done by the TMC-backed goons and administration, the whistleblowers provide information through other means) point to mind-boggling savagery and involvement of multiple rapists.

For example, this claim that the victim's body had 150 mg of semen. The Kolkata police has obviously refuted it.

Source: Kolkata rape and murder: Parents suspect gang rape, claim 150mg of semen found in victim’s body / Live Mint

Let us look at what else the victim had to endure from those beasts.

The autopsy report on Dr. Moumita Debnath revealed a horrific sequence of events leading to her death.

The four-page document detailed that she had been raped and sexually assaulted before being fatally strangled. Her body bore numerous deep wounds, including injuries to her genital tract, lips, limbs, fingers, neck, and face.

Her attacker's fingernails likely caused scratch marks on her face. This needs to be carefully watched because as we will see later, the scratch marks ploy was used in the Kamduni case by the same police group to sabotage that case as well. The evidence used to arrest Sanjay Roy is the DNA under the victim's fingernails. Question one needs to ponder is - was it planted?

The report indicated that she had been forcibly silenced, with pressure applied to her mouth and throat, resulting in a fractured thyroid cartilage.

Bleeding was observed from her eyes, mouth, and private parts, with genital injuries described as evidence of "perverted sexuality" and "genital torture."

While the cause of her eye injuries remained unclear, the overall findings painted a picture of extreme brutality, sparking widespread outrage and demands for justice.

A post like this on X (by an advocate) suggests the disturbing state that the body was found to be in. The limbs also bore the fury of the barbarians - apart from the eyes.

What strikes you in all these accounts?

Rape and Gangrape are devious enough crimes. This was a crime of fury and hate. The aggressors did not just want to rape her, they wanted to make an example out of her by violating her in ways that would show their unquestioned dominance and her mute and helpless humiliation.

That swagger of control and dominance with the fury to destroy and violate the victim in any way one's perversity and lack of humanity allows him to do is the most striking feature here.

The victim was to be made an example of!

This needs to be underscored when you are looking at this crime, its abettors, its backers, its performers, and the patrons of those criminals who have been working tirelessly to shield them.

The Protests and Sabotage to Destroy Evidence

A massive "Reclaim the Night" march was organized in Kolkata by the angered masses.

Tens of thousands of women from across the state participated. Women in Delhi also backed the women in Kolkata up.

At RG Kar Hospital, the site of the original crime. however, another plot was unfolding. During the Reclaim the Night march, a group of unidentified men barged into the hospital's emergency ward and went on a rampage, vandalizing equipment and attacking staff members.

They did this to wipe out the evidence that was there in hospital that could have helped the investigators.

Meanwhile, in an audio that is being shared, one lady is saying

"Goons are going to every girls hostels PG's and threatening the girls who came out in protest "Reclaim the night" their faces have been identified & will be raped and murdered"

Listen to it.

After the heinous crime, there have been attempts to cover up and botch the evidence. Just like what the attack on the protestors was planned to do.

Any voice is a voice too much for this administration.

The reprisals are not just going on in Bengal but anyone who speaks across India is getting targeted by the West Bengal police and state machinery.

One can easily check that none of the major YouTube channels like Abhijit Chavda, World Affairs by Unacademy, DEF - TALKS by Aadi, The Alternate Media, or The Jaipur Dialogues - no one is talking about the Kolkata murder case. Only Sham Sharma did one show two days back.

Why would that be?

It's because the police machinery is openly threatening social media influencers to silence them.

That is the reason why those who speak on platforms that are controlled by forces that are already aligned to what is euphemistically called the "Deep State," (like YouTube) cannot risk losing their entire channel for saying anything against the West Bengal establishment.

Source: Shefali Vaidya / Lady Khabri

I have checked on different aspects of this case on the different AI platforms and these platforms either do not share the information calling it "disinformation" or have been giving the official line of the state government and its police.

The silencing around the country of any commentary and going after every voice has become the modus operandi.

That is not all. The police are combing neighborhoods and terming every information shared on X and social media as "disinformation."

Here is the X post of one person who was "visited" by the state police only to be warned.

Source: Purpleready X Post

Their actions have already sabotaged the investigation. Suvendu Adhikari, the leader of the opposition, who still has some political security and ability to "speak" in that state shared all the inconsistencies that were committed by the West Bengal police and the political "hit-men".

Not only was the viscera of the victim changed but evidence has been replaced and the wash basin in the area of the crime was changed as well.

This is not an investigation by the state police. It is sabotage! Just read.

This is all in line with what transpired in the High Court during the hearing.

First, let us talk about the police officer that the lawyer here talked about in the Kolkata High Court.

The disgraced police officer - Police Commissioner of Kolkata, Vineet Goyal.

The high-handedness of the state government along with the state police in "processing" a slew of rape and murder cases, which have become an epidemic has shaken the confidence of people everywhere in the top police officers.

Criminal collaboration between the Chief Minister and the police officers was witnessed in 2019 when these officers had participated in a sit-in with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on February 4.

He was also to be interrogated in the infamous Saradha scam case.

On Monday, the investigative agency sent an email to the state police director general, Virendra a couple of days back seeking green signal for interrogating these four police officers. The four police officers that CBI seeks to interrogate include the Kolkata police commissioner, Rajeev Kumar, additional commissioner (I) of Kolkata Police, Vineet Kumar Goyal, inspector general (rail), Tamal Basu and retired IPS officer, Pallab Kanti Ghosh. However, CBI officers, speaking on conditions of anonymity, said they did not receive any response to their request. None of the IPS officers turned up for questioning. The move may be politically significant since it comes in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections. The Saradha scam is one of the politically sensitive scams in the state since a few prominent leaders of ruling Trinamool Congress such as former minister Madan Mitra, former Rajya Sabha MPs Kunal Ghosh, Srinjoy Bose, party vice president Rajat Majumdar were allegedly involved in it. (Source: "CBI seeks nod to quiz 4 IPS officers in Saradha case" / Hindustan Times)

The center took disciplinary action against Vineet Goyal who has been running a campaign against the state governor as well.

The Union Home Ministry has taken disciplinary action against Calcutta Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal and Deputy Commissioner Indira Mukherjee for allegedly maligning the office of the West Bengal Governor. The central government, acting on a detailed report submitted by Governor CV Ananda Bose, accused the officers of promoting and spreading false allegations, which the Governor described as canards. This action follows a report submitted by Governor Bose in the last week of June, highlighting instances where Calcutta Police officers obstructed victims of post-poll violence from meeting him, despite having the requisite permissions. The report also accused other police officers at the Raj Bhavan of encouraging a woman employee to concoct allegations during April-May 2024, further tarnishing the office’s reputation. (Source: Calcutta’s Top Cop Vineet Goyal in Trouble as Home Ministry Backs Governor / The420.in)

You see police is not a law enforcement agency for the protection of the citizens but it has degenerated into an instrument of power in the hands of the politicians to systematically target the population of the state.

The Bengal Gangrape Pandemic

But what has happened in West Bengal is a virtual pandemic of gang rapes and murders.

Let us now go into them.

Gang-Rape and Murder Case: Kamduni murder case

The Kamduni murder case was a brutal crime that occurred on June 7, 2013, in the village of Kamduni, near Barasat in West Bengal. The horrific nature of the crime and the subsequent handling of the investigation shocked everyone!

What happened? Here are some of the details - (source: West Bengal: Kamduni victim's kin want death for rapists / India Today)

  • The victim was a 20-year-old college student named Shipra Ghosh, who was pursuing a BA degree at Derozio College. On the afternoon of June 7, 2013, while walking home from college, she was:
  • Abducted by a group of men
  • Taken to a nearby factory
  • Gang-raped by eight men
  • Brutally murdered - her legs were torn apart up to the navel and her throat was slit
  • Her body was dumped in a nearby field

Eight men were accused of the crime:

  1. Ansar Ali (prime accused)
  2. Saiful Ali
  3. Aminul Ali
  4. Bhutto Molla
  5. Emanul Molla
  6. Aminur Ali
  7. Gopal Naskar
  8. Bholanath Naskar

Ansar Ali, Saiful Ali, and Aminul Ali received the death penalty. Emanul Islam, Aminur Islam, and Bhola Naskar were given life sentences. They were all convicted for the gang-rape and murder of Shipra Ghosh.

In October 2023, the Calcutta High Court modified the sentences:

  • Death sentences of Saiful Ali and Ansar Ali were commuted to life imprisonment
  • Amin Ali was acquitted due to lack of evidence
  • The other three convicts were released after paying a fine, as they had already served over 10 years in jail

Very convenient isn't it?

When protesters in Kamduni raised their voices against sexual violence, Banerjee labeled them as "CPI(M) supporters," attempting to delegitimize their concerns by associating them with political opposition.

Anyone who even dares to question is targeted by the police and the Chief Minister herself to delegitimize the critic or silence him/her or even worse, eliminated.

The question one needs to ask is - What is it about these crimes and criminals that the Chief Minister is willing to put her entire political existence on the line? Shielding them must offer her a payback that offsets that existential risk for her (and her administration) to repeatedly keep saving such devious criminals and make an industry out of it. What is THAT pay-off?

There has to be some payback to invest the entire state machinery in unleashing terror for apparently (that is the key word) "no reason" other than playing godmother to rapist-murderers.

That is the reason one should aim to find.

Gang-Rape and Murder Case: Hanskhali

On April 4, 2022, a tragic incident occurred in Hanskhali, West Bengal, involving the alleged gang rape of a 14-year-old girl during a birthday celebration. The primary accused, Brojogopali Gayali (also known as Sohail Gayali), is the son of a local Trinamool Congress leader.

The victim succumbed to severe bleeding shortly after the incident. The case gained notoriety not only for the crime itself but also for alleged attempts to conceal evidence and controversial statements by TMC leaders, specifically Mamata Banerjee.

Source: West Bengal’s shame: Death of minor girl in Nadia / India Today

Such is the absolutely shameless level of TMC's criminal conduct which has turned Bengal into a living hell, that the Chief Minister dismissed the case with a retort attributing it to a "love affair"!

Source: Hanskhali rape: Temper over Didi's intemperance / India Today

Love affair?

That is how desperate Mamata Banerjee has been to normalize gang-rape and murder cases.

Gang-Rape and Murder Case: Kakdwip

The Ranu Biswas case refers to the rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl named Ranu Biswas in Kakdwip, West Bengal in November 2015. The case was initially investigated by the local police.

Source: Kakdwip: Stir over non-inclusion of gangrape charge / Times of India

There is no new information on what happened thereafter.

And then there was the gang rape case of the 71-year-old nun.

Gang-Rape case: Kandhamal gang rape case

The Ranaghat rape and murder case, also known as the 2015 Kandhamal gang rape case, was a horrific crime that occurred in March 2015 in Ranaghat, Nadia district of West Bengal, India.

Since the victim was a nun, the initial narrative had accused Hindu groups of the crime. A fake narrative that was later found to be untrue.

Two Bangladeshi nationals were on Friday detained on suspicion of their involvement in the sexual assault of a 71-year-old nun at a Ranaghat convent school six days ago, police said. North Dinajpur Superintendent of Police S W Reza said that the two — Mukul Alam (28) and Md Majid (29) — bore striking resemblance to those caught on the CCTV camera at the Convent of Jesus and Mary school on March 14, one of them having 75 per cent similarity. (Source: Nun Rape Case: Police detain two Bangladeshis on suspicion / Indian Express)

These are the ones that got the attention. Rapes, Gang-rapes and murders are now rampant in the state. Here is one such list prepared by the India Today team for just two months in 2022!

That number is 12.

Source: Hanskhali rape: Temper over Didi's intemperance / India Today

This is no joke.

From the looks of it, the crime epidemic is not about to end.

It is a state where the government and its machinery can do anything. Anything against its citizens.

West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose visited the Emergency Department in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital which was vandalized by a mob during a protest by doctors and students. And this is what had to say about it.

What I saw, what I heard, what I was told and what is reported. The incident which took place here is shocking, shattering and deplorable. It is a shame for Bengal and India and humanity..This is the greatest degeneration we have seen around us. The custodians of law have themselves become conspirators. A section of the police is politicised and criminalised. This rot has to end...The government is responsible for this. The first responsibility lies with the government. We want security so that when you go to work at night you are safe...It is nothing but a bloodbath going on.

Here is the video.

A bloodbath indeed!

Bengal Model of Savagery Masking as Feminism - Violating Women By Shielding the Rapists

When women abet and shield the most savage of men in the name of "progressive values" you can be rest assured that you are looking at a society where the mere speaking of truth can destabilize their empire of lies and propaganda.

And that is the reason why these shameless and inhuman stooges and backers of the most devious of criminals continue to insult our intelligence by showcasing their deeds as exemplary in Gobblesian campaigns at every public forum and by silencing every single voice in the public via the might of their state machinery.

Women, you see, have just been a "booty of war" for such savages. This is a political war. And so, irrespective of who is at the helm, the one on the table for paying for the crime will be a woman again.

The women in Bengal have been the most unfortunate. They have suffered unimaginable crimes. We shared the history of using the Rape of women as a weapon of war and crime.

The Politics of Rape.
Sandeshkhali was the continuation of the strategy of Genocidal rape unleashed on the Bengali women from years. The powerful have used women, Hindu women, as a weapon of a diabolical war. It is time for Kaali to rise up.

Isn't it ironic and particularly nauseating that a woman stands up in India's parliament and exults at the "Bengal Model" that "empowers women"?

If you want to watch the most devious form of hypocrisy manifest on screen - watch this 20-second clip and wonder how will the Bengali feminine free itself from its truly sorry state.

Bengal Model of Women's Empowerment?

When vile criminals deceive us with lies to mask their wicked actions and instead masquerade as saints, society is on a path to ruin.

Another minister calls the perversely abusive gangrape, torture, and murder as "ragging" while suggesting that ragging is common in colleges!

0:00
/2:11

There is no end to the extremely scary nightmare that Bengal run by such minds has become!

The common strain of lies and turning crimes around runs deep in the TMC party and the Bengal establishment. The Chief Minister who runs this gangrape-murder enterprise with institutional backing goes to the streets to protest against.... well, her own self!

Remember, Mamata Banerjee is not just the Chief Minister of West Bengal. She is the Health and the Home Minister as well!

So who will answer whom in this ongoing criminal undertaking?

If this was a case of just one occurrence currently, one could have focused on just this unique perversion of the Bengali society as it has currently come to be and restricted one's analysis to that.

Cloward Piven Anarchy Variant Model Being Unleashed on India?

From all available evidence, it seems that these crimes may be popping up elsewhere as well.

The Home Ministry of India is worried that it may be a larger plan of societal destabilization of India. And not just a one-off.

Remember how the "Farm Bill protest" had morphed into a Khalistani rampage and abuse? Or how Occupy Wall Street protests had morphed into hate fashioned along Race, Gender and Sexuality?

What happened in Bangladesh was similar as well. A quote protest due to court judgment became the lead to attack the Prime Minister.

That is the nature of such "Cloward Piven" movements. They start a society-wide anarchy only to direct the anger and fury in a direction that can eventually destroy the country.

That is why this particular notification from the Indian Home Ministry is so significant.

Why is the Home Ministry so worried?

Because such crimes may be unleashed across the country in order to create an anarchic situation.

Check this out - a case that may have gone the Kolkata way but didn't.

Lady Doctor On Night Duty Assaulted By ‘Intoxicated’ Attendants At Mumbai Hospital, Case Filed
Doctors across the country are holding huge protests for a central law to check violence against healthcare personnel, and to declare hospitals as safe zones with mandatory security entitlements among other demands., Mumbai News - Times Now

This just means that Indian citizens need to keep their wits and have their emotions in check even in such devious times. The trigger for anarchist actions will be increased in the coming days.

You may feel as if there is nothing worth saving in India and its culture.

But it is not about the Indian culture.

It is about the Indian polity, its judiciary, and law enforcement that combine to allow such crimes to be let loose on India's citizens.

So feel sorry if you must.

Not on being Indian.

But on making electoral choices that hoist such devils upon our society.
