Extremists, perverts, their God and Religion – tale of extremism from Pakistan

Extremism has a one point agenda – terror and assertion.  It looks for accomplices.  Two are the best known so far – religion and poverty.  Both the concepts promise Utopia – the ultimate happiness and good.  Hope and incredible one at that.  In fact there is really nothing credible about both!

In that attempt a person goes blind and loses all perspective.

There are some top 30 Muslim clerics in Pakistan.  Suicide Attacks and Extremists were discussed with them.  Their country is burning with that fire.  They are more concerned on how this fire was not effectively pointed at US and India.  The madness of these clerics in Pakistan reminds me of this couplet always:

Dil jala hai to zaalim zara ghar bhi to jalaa kar dekh;
Duniya ko kuchh pata to chale ke kahin aag lagi hai!

(If my heart is burning, let me burn my house as well.  At least let me inform the world that something is on fire!)

In a major statement that was published in some Pakistani newspapers they asserted how things had gone wrong recently:

“Our forces were used in military operations against our fellow citizens. Cowardice was shown vis-à-vis the United States and India…”
“On the other hand, efforts were launched with full preparedness to take the nation [Pakistan] on an irreligious path in the name of ‘moderation’ and ‘progressive thinking.’ Changes were made in the curricula of the educational system, to make them look good to ‘others/foreigners’ instead of… [making them appropriate for] our national interests. Completely unjustified amendments were made in hudood law [regarding women,] in the name of women’s rights – [amendments] which were not only unrelated to women’s rights but also included further injustices against them.
“Vice and nakedness were promoted; centers of vice were patronized practically; and mosques were martyred in Islamabad. Rising inflation and unemployment made it difficult for the poor to live. The storm of killings and lootings is raging in the country, and because of this no one’s life and property is safe..

When they refer to unjustified amendments to hudood – this is what they are referring to:

A woman alleging rape is required to provide four adult male witnesses of good standing of “the act of penetration”. In practice this is virtually impossible as no man of good standing would stand there and watch the violent act. Failure to find such proof of the rape places the woman at risk of prosecution for accusing an innocent man of adultery, which does not require such strong evidence.

First of all, only a pervert could have come up with such a rule which ensures a safe supply of women to be raped!  Because there is no way a female can ever prove her molestation under such a law.  Second, if now it has been reversed, it is irking these “scholars”.

Is it any wonder that this guy – a Pakistani by origin – living in London and who has been caught for extremism used to do this with his daughter:

On another occasion, he paraded his daughter, then three, in front of “Uncle Zahoor” Iqbal, saying: “Listen to this, when you go in the mountains what are you going to make for mujahid [holy fighters]? Say it louder. What else are you going to make them?”
She could be heard talking about food and Khan went on: “You know sometimes when she’s sleeping, two o’clock in the morning, she always says to me. What are you going to cook in the mountains? Chapattis.
“Inshallah [god willing] she’ll marry into them and give birth to them. Inshallah.”

… and this with his son:

“Who else you kill?” asked Khan.
“Saddam, Saddam,” said the boy.
Then the pair began chanting at each other.
Khan said: “Kuffar [non-believers]” the boy said: “Kill.”
Khan said: “Mushrik [polytheists]” and the boy said: “Kill.”
Then it continued with: “Hindu?… Kill… Sheedi [blacks]?… Kill… Pathan [thieves]?…Kill…Sharab [alcohol]?…Kill…And who do you love?…Sheikh Osama bin Laden, I love.”

I am not sure how people get to become such barbarians and downright in-human in the name of religion?

Khuda ke bandon ko dekh kar hi khuda se munkir huyi hai duniya
Ki aise bande hain jis khuda; wo koi achha khuda to nahin hoga!
