How do you fight a Depression of vicious issues

Personally, and some of my close friends, have seen some tough times in one’s life.  The times have somethings in common:

1. There is a complete disinterest in the work at hand.
2. Somehow the bad luck seems to pile up – no matter what you do, something doesn’t quite add up.
3. You feel your life has been a failure.
4. You don’t see much direction
5. Every issue in life seems to be linked.

So how do you handle this?

This is a circle.  A vicious circle.  Where depression and lows in one area or inability to break through keeps adding on to another one.  I cannot find a job > I will have to deal with a bad boss > He makes me depressed > cannot perform at my best > need to put in more hard work and time > not enough time to look for a job.

So what do you do?

In my experience, this vicious circle made of various chains – where most are not in your hand, and it frustrates you.  But in all this depressive scenario, there is always one, just one, area where the resolution of the issue is in YOUR hand.  It depends on your effort, ingenuity or passion.  You will have the urge to attack your problems from all the angles.  Youwill want to fight all your problems.  However, such a strategy is not useful because:

– you spread your attention
– you cannot give your 100% of the already reduced effort-ability
– you may be attacking on issues which are NOT in your hands, and pushing them will worsen the situation by irritating a decision maker who should have been left alone anyways!

So, here is the best thing to do -> Attack the Weakest Link!  Focus all your attention on an area/issue that YOU have control over.. where the final result depends on your own effort and not on others. And believe me, when one issue gets resolved, the other links lose their existence or thr grip.  And very soon you see each issue in a new light.. in a way that can make you completely powerful!

I have used this very simple strategy to come out of extremely depressive states and fight back in life.
