India tests Prithvi-II during Night time

India tested its surface-to-surface missile Prithvi-II, during night time.  This missile can carry 500 to 1,000 kilogramme of warheads, is thrusted by liquid propulsion twin engines and is part of Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme.  It engages targets in the exo-atmosphere  at 50 km above the earth’s atmosphere.
