Analysis of the 2018 Elections – Part 1

Shankaran Pillai once fell in the septic tank on the side of a building with no one looking.  He started shouting – “Fire Fire”.  Soon a passerby called the fire-brigade who came looking that side and seeing this poor man in that filthy tank pulled him out and asked “Where is the fire?”

He replied calmly “There is no fire”.  The fire brigade guy shouted – “Then why the bloody hell did you shout ‘fire fire’?”

He replied “if I had shouted ‘Shit shit’ would you have come to get me out?”

Critical lesson

in life is to do what WORKS!  Not what “seems moral”.

Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf was the Governor of Basra, who wanted to teach the Indians a lesson because of a pirate raid off the coast of Debal.  Debal was near modern day Karachi with a very important temple to the local deity and a derivative of Devalaya due to the huge temple.  IN 711, he sent Muhammad bin Qasim to conquer India.  Qasim enlisted Jats, Buddhists and local tribes and defeated Raja Dahir – the last Hindu King in Sindh and modern day Pakistan.

Before the battle with Qasim, Dahir’s minister recommended to his King that he seek help and refuge of some friendly king further into India.

You should say to them, ‘I am a wall between you and the Arab army. If I fall, nothing will stop your destruction at their hands.’ If that wasn’t acceptable to Dahar, said the vizier, then he should at least send away his family to some safe point in India

Dahir refused and said I cannot send my family while those of my nobles remain here.  Instead he said:

“I am going to meet the Arabs in the open battle, and fight them as best as I can. If I crush them, my kingdom will then be put on a firm footing. But if I am killed honourably, the event will be recorded in the books of Arabia and India, and will be talked about by great men. It will be heard by other kings in the world, and it will be said that Raja Dahir of Sindh sacrificed his precious life for the sake of his country, in fighting with the enemy.”

Dahir was killed in the Battle of Aror on the banks of Indus.  His head was cut off and sent to Hajjaj bin Yousuf.

As for his “country”, his name and his place in history – no one gives a shit!

Specially in HIS “country”.  You see Muhammad Bin Qasim is a Pakistani national hero and Pakistan’s second largest port near what was once Debal (near Manora Island of today) is a port called Muhammad Bin Qasim Port!

Port Qasim

Quite honestly, morality or some high ideal do not define history nor your name nor the future of your country.

Country’s future is decided by doing what works!  And, the only and only instrument which defines the future and the history of any nation is POWER.

Secret of Power

Power does not go to those who are just strong.  History changing rules do not happen by chance or by one battle.  Only one thing defines and perpetuates power – Relentless Perseverance.

The battles by Islamic rulers, the battles by the European rulers and those by the super powers were won on the back of only one strength – Relentless Perseverance for one goal of domination.  You may be a Saint or you may be Divine incarnate – if you cannot be relentlessly ruthless in your commitment and flexible in your ways to get to your goal, nothing else matters.

The inherent characteristic of evil is destruction and domination.  There is a hunger that is not satiated.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. ~ CS Lewis in Essays on Theology

The tyrants who were moral busybodies with all the regressive logic in the world – along with the stamp of god and everyone they could muster – have written histories when they could.  In fact, ONLY the tyrants and evil-doers have had the need to write history.  Because that was the ONLY way to manage their guilt that would have destroyed them without that recourse.

Future, however and unfortunately, has been decided by history as well.

Several hundred thousands died in Sindh – specifically Karachi during partition.  Most of them poor.  Raja Dahir’s loss sowed the seed of an ideology that was exclusivist, isolationist and dominating.  Jinnah’s call for Direct Action Day in 1946 fashioned on the Battle of Badr – ironically fought just a few hundred years before Dahir’s loss – became the harbinger of the deadliest bloodshed in the history of India.  Qasim planted a tree whose roots would always seek blood.

And, the march of such blood-seeking monster is relentless.  It seeks domination and it remains in shadows until it can strike.  But its blade cannot be dulled.  For its purpose is clear.

Tyrannical Moral Busybodies Need Ruthless and Relentless Resolve and Flexible Strategies

The only and the ONLY role of Morality in the history of humanity has been of being the façade of Evil.  Only Evil seeks to hoist Morality.  Not those whose basis of existence is humanity.  Morality is for Evil not for Humanity.  Once Ratnakar was Valmiki did he need any lesson in morality?  Let us be absolutely clear – Morality is the best friend of Evil.

And, the sole endeavor of the Evil is to make its victims believe that Morality is indeed a virtue.  Something to be lived up to.  A morality that is defined, fashioned and set in rules by the evil.  For centuries, the Church has been the hotbed of orgies, sexual predators, political machinations and violence, yet it has defined the moral code for all of West and most of the rest of the planet.  How?

Evil uses morality as a weapon to dull the resolve of those it endeavors to subjugate.  A morality that the evil itself does not believe in.  It is not the belief in moral principles that are set forth by the Evil that motivate it to set that as the rule of the land.  But as a means to dominate.

That which the Evil does with impunity and justifies – as the creator and keeper of the moral code – with calls to morality against exactly that, it chides those it seeks to oppress.

The only way… the ONLY way to fight the tyranny of the Evil is to free one from the slavery of morality.  For, those who seek to further it as divine dispensation have no interest in divine or good.  Morality always was and is the greatest weapon for slavery.   Freedom from tyranny lies, therefore, in breaking free from the chains of morality whose rules and ways are defined, defiled, broken and enforced by the tyrannical evil.

If Shankaran Pillai had been honest, he would have died in shit.  If Dahir had seeked reinforcements and collaborations, he would NOT have died as shit!

The greatest lesson to fight tyranny is to liberate oneself from the chains of man-made and evil reinforced morality.

Do what WORKS!

That is the lesson for Narendra Modi, BJP but even more importantly – for those Indians who know in their heart that India needs a relentless battle against tyrannical busybodies.  Be Shankaran, not Dahir!
