World Happiness Report is  issued annually by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network by evaluating metrics like income, healthy life expectancy, social support, freedom, trust, and generosity (here is a pdf copy of World Happiness Report 2018).

Studies find link between places and level of happiness. Some places make people happier than others. Listen to this interesting discussion Click To Tweet

And then there is another happiness list for places.  This one is by National Geographic.  And this puts Boulder, Colorado at the top.  Mostly because of its high levels of civic engagement, walkability, and healthful food options.
