Maldives Parliament (Majlis) was hosting the 4th south Asian speakers summit on achieving the sustainable development goal today and what did the Pakistani delegation do?  It raised Kashmir there!

Pakistan creates a ruckus at South Asian Speakers summit and starts frothing on Kashmir in Maldivian Parliament as India gives it back! #BoorishPakistan #PakruckusinMaldives Click To Tweet

They are single-mindedly trying to hit India everywhere.  They do not step back from being boorish, churlish and rude even at the expense of their hosts!  They hardly have any friends left anywhere.  And whatever they have, they are losing.

Just as the Pakistani representative started talking about Kashmir even as speaker of Maldivian Parliament Mohamed Nasheed tried his best to stop him, the Indian representative Harivansh Narayan Singh got up and read a statement – good to see the Indian preparation in having anticipated this nonsense!

Then the Pakistani senator got up and despite being censured by the Maldivian Parliament speaker kept speaking on and on.

When you fight the pigs, you will also roll in the mud.  I think we need to keep an arm’s length distance and do things our way.

There is no scope of engagement left for India with Pakistan.  I think it is now the end-game for India.  India is surely not interested in dealing with Pakistan anymore for it only gives ammunition to this sponsorer of terror to keep spinning things.  And it achieves nothing for India.

The right way for India is to keep it at bay, and soon dismember it and then control the whole regional crap so peace can return to the region.

There is really no other way for peace to return in Kashmir and the rest of the region.
