While the Pakistani authorities have been saying a lot of things about how it is “fighting terror”, the fact is that nothing is happening on the ground in real terms.  Masood Azhar, the head of Jaish-e-Mohammad, who was rumored to be in a Pakistani jail, was really living at his headquarters in Bahawalpur, which is located at Markaz Subhan Allah.  Azhar was designated a ‘global terrorist’ by the UN Security Council 1267 Sanction Committee on May 1, 2019.

Jaish-e-Mohammad's #MasoodAzhar is in his headquarters in Bahawalpur and is in better health now. He and Pakistani authorities have been planning attacks on Indian Army camps. Click To Tweet

The main fact is that unlike reports like below, Azhar was never in any custody!

Amid heightened tensions with India over the Narendra Modi government’s Article 370 move, Pakistan has secretly released Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar from protective custody. Pakistan is also planning to carry out major attack in India.

As the intelligence inputs now confirm, he was never in any jail.  That is the kind of joke that Pakistani authorities keep playing with the world all the time.

It seems that his health has shown some improvement, but he remains indoors and does not come out.  Probably because of the fear of being killed.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is working with the Lashkar terrorists to target the Indian Army’s terror camps in Jammu and nearby – Bari Brahmana camp of Samba Distt, Sunjwan and Kaluchak Army camps of Jammu.  4 LeT terrorists are working to launch an attack.  Pakistan is trying hard to infiltrate these terrorists via Shopian.

One thing is for sure – that designs of Jaish-e-Mohammed are not going to succeed for very long.
