Catchup #15: Insightful Twitter Threads (Hinduphobia in Univs, Silencing Americans, Chinese cells?, Trump, US Economy)
1. Anti-Hindu Hate in Top Western Universities
In a detailed thread, Rishap, himself a faculty at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, shares the details of the WhatsApp chats that Mukulika Banerjee, a professor at London School of Economics had with students with the express objective of targeting Karan Kataria, a Hindu student at LSE who ran for the post of General Secretary elections at the University, for his faith.
In fact, she is close with the Congress Party group and hosted Rahul Gandhi when he was in London to diss India and its democracy. She made personal calls to students to "cancel" Kataria for being a Hindu!
"....WhatsApp chats where Mukulika Banerjee, professor at LSE is....telling other students to reject the candidature of Mr Kataria for having alleged links with the Hindu right"

"She had joined Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ and hosted him in London"https://t.co/Jb2Wnzids5
Here is the letter that Karan shared on Twitter regarding how he was targeted by the Hindu-hating professors and ecosystem.
I have faced personal, vicious, and targeted attacks due to the anti-India rhetoric and Hinduphobia. I demand that the @lsesu is transparent about its reasoning.

I will not be a SILENT victim of Hinduphobia.

Here is an interview that The New Indian had with Karan.
Dear readers@TheNewIndian_in has been a trendsetter of sorts. From Cambridge to Jamia to JNU, we have exposed those who want to break India & demean our faith/Constitution

But Karan was not the only one to be targeted. All those who campaigned with him or were his friends were targeted specifically. Check this tweet from Tejashwini Shankar.
I have been targeted and taunted based on my religious identity and for supporting a friend in the student union elections. The Student Union refuses to take appropriate action.#discriminationoncampus #karan4gensec @lsesu @LSEnews @PMOIndia @HCI_London @mkstalin @karanatLSE pic.twitter.com/lX6uZlbJj3

This is not the only case of targeting of Hindu students for their faith. Rashmi Samant, the first Indian woman to be elected as president of the Oxford University Students’ Union (OUSU) was forced to resign when she was targeted viciously because she is a Hindu.
2. Silencing Americans
Over the last few years, a certain group has been working to slowly take over the US and the global geopolitics. This time, there are 2 bills which are finding their their way through Congress, backed by the Biden White House and the establishment wings of both parties. These bills will empower the Executive Branch to ban social media apps and platforms at will. What will they use as bait? Fear of China.
A series of “Anti-TikTok” bills are on the table in Congress, from Hawley’s TikTok ban to the far more expansive RESTRICT Act, for the stated purpose of protecting Americans from China.

But we should be very wary that they aren't exploiting fear of China for authoritarian ends👇 pic.twitter.com/85og1vXaRG
3. How the Chinese are Infiltrating the US
The Chinese strategy to infiltrate and create sleeping cells and staging units inside the US is just brilliant (from their standpoint) and downright asinine from the American standpoint. Please read this shocking threat from journalist Lara Logan. It will shock you completely!
For at least a month, Chinese nationals have been surging across the southern border, acc to law enforcement. Rio Grande station is receiving 50 - 70 every single day - a phenomenon they have never seen there before. The CCP usually sends it’s Chinese hackers to McAllen station.

4. Trump's Arraignment
America's 45th President Donald Trump was arraigned today. It will change the US forever, where the Democrats targeted a major political opponent who is running for President in 2024. Targeting opposition candidates is not democracy.
And, from the looks of it, the case may not even amount to much. In the end, it will lead to bolstering the case for Trump.
PS - if you so want to be a 3rd world banana democracy, at least learn the ways of how you don't pin your opponents up!
…requires, as another element, that it was done to cover up a crime. PL § 175.05 is 2nd degree & a misdemeanor, lacking that second element.

The attempt to elevate it to a Class E Felony, is solely to get around the statute of limitations clock which, Bragg will argue,…
5. Spiraling US Economy
How bad is the situation with the American economy right now? Rising inflation, large layoffs and rising rates. Banks are failing and will continue to in future. The US economy is in a tizzy.
