'China May Have Felt The Need To Hold Pakistan's Hand'

China’s decision to continue blocking the listing of Masood Azhar as a UN-designated  terrorist may not have surprised officials here in New Delhi.  In this exclusive interview to SNI, Lt Gen. SL Narasimhan (retd), a member of India’s National Security Advisory Board, believes a combination of reasons including its investments in CPEC projects in Pakistan would have determined Bejing’s decision. But China also knows it is the odd man out in the world when it intervenes to publicly back a terrorist with blood on his hands.
