Ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan Explains how Pakistani courts pass judgments, specially when Army is interested
Here is Justice Naseem Hassan Shah discussing how Pakistan’s courts pass judgments, specifically in cases in which the Army and ISI are very interested. He was the Pakistan Supreme Court’s Chief Justice from April 1993 to 14 April 1994.
Justice Shah was infamous for the verdict against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, first democratically elected PM, which resulted in his death penalty.

The ironical thing is that this joker was awarded the “Man of the Decade” award for services to Democracy and Rule of Law by the American Pakistan Alliance in Washington D.C. on 26 September 1993. So, when the Americans get all confused about what the courts in Pakistan do, you need to know that the guy who openly admitted that courts towed the Army line and was responsible for Bhutto’s death was awarded by the Americans!
This guy also happens to be the father-in-law of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.
