Heinz-Christian Strache, is the head of Austria’s anti-immigrant Freedom Party. A party pushing for revival of the Nazi White Supremacist movement in Europe. It was founded by former Nazis after the World War II.
On Dec 19, Strache shared something extremely explosive on his Facebook page. That, he had signed an agreement with United Russia – Vladimir Putin’s party. It is a “cooperation agreement”.
But what he said beyond that should make people in the US wake up.
The Freedom Party leader, Heinz-Christian Strache, reported the signing of the agreement with United Russia, Mr. Putin’s party, on Monday on his Facebook page, where he also disclosed that he had visited General Flynn a few weeks ago in Trump Tower in New York.
Here is the FB post by Strache.
It is important to understand the origins of the Freedom Party that Strache represents:
The Freedom Party’s first leader was Anton Reinthaller, who supported the Nazi party as early as 1928 and later served as a Nazi government official. Reinthaller was a member of the SS, the Nazi paramilitary organization-turned-secret police that executed much of the Holocaust.
This is happening while there have been clear signs and evidence of Russian sabotage and subversion of the democratic processes in Europe. There is war going on which is far more deeper than laymen would realize.
Igor Sutyagin, the Russia specialist at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) said that Russia’s propaganda machine was currently “very active”, deploying what security experts call “hybrid warfare” that blends conventional military powerwith guerrilla tactics and cyber warfare.
“The Russian campaign exists in a grey area, operating covertly – and often legally – to avoid political blowback, but with the clear aim of weakening Western will to fight, maturing doubts over Nato, the EU, Trident and economic sanctions,” he said.
Now, Michael Flynn is one pick for NSA who has had dealings and pay outs from the Turkish Government while changing his stance all the time. Flynn himself has had dealings with Putin, which interestingly he has denied – which one wonders why he would when he is still meeting with Putin’s partners in Europe to create an alliance?!
Eighteen months after stepping down as leader of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Flynn himself sat next to Putin at a 2015 gala in Moscow for RT, a Kremlin-backed television channel on which he continued to occasionally appear as a contributor. He told the network in October, during a discussion about Syria, that he believes “Russia and the United States working together and trying to work with the other partners that we all have in this region can come up with some other solutions.”
With a close circle of White Supremacists like Steve Bannon who has been close to Flynn, it is quite a dangerous mix that Trump is creating around him.
“This is not just any opposition party: It is one with Nazi sympathies,” said Daniel Serwer, a former state department official who’s now a professor at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. “Nor is Flynn any national security adviser. He is a documented conspiracy propagator. His long-term strategy colleague, Steve Bannon, is an ethnic nationalist and anti-Semite. The president-elect is an anti-Muslim and anti-immigration bigot.”
Even if one were to take away the anti-Islamic views of these guys, it is the call for nostalgic nationalism which was predicated on White Supremacy and Global order – which the combine of Putin, Strache, Trump, Flynn and others in Europe (Farage for example) are working towards.
What impact this will have over the coming years and decades is very important as the European and Atlantic order collapses to bare the nationalistic jingoism of Europeans as well as the Americans. While Putin, the conductor of this strange but effectively disruptive opera watches the Western order lose its dominance.
Russia may have lost the financial power and the economic strength it once had. But its military and espionage abilities are still top-class. And they can be used very effectively on democracies. After all, in democracies anarchy can be seeded and orchestrated and blamed on the “will of the people”. For the future of the world and its peace, it is time to take notice.
