Which are the Happiest Places on Earth and Why?

World Happiness Report is  issued annually by the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network by evaluating metrics like income, healthy life expectancy, social support, freedom, trust, and generosity (here is a pdf copy of World Happiness Report 2018).

And then there is another happiness list for places.  This one is by National Geographic.  And this puts Boulder, Colorado at the top.  Mostly because of its high levels of civic engagement, walkability, and healthful food options.

So, what makes people happy in any place?  What is it about where people live that makes them happy?  Lets listen in.
