Why Trump Won and How Will the World Change?
In the halls of the U.S. Congress, one man stood alone against the darkest forces of American democracy. Former President John Quincy Adams, already a respected elder statesman, had returned to the House of Representatives, driven by a fierce, unyielding resolve.
His mission was monumental.
To restore the voice of the people, to defend their right to petition against the greatest moral crime of his day – slavery.
But his battle would pit him against an institution ensnared by fear and beholden to silence.
The year was 1836, and the U.S. Congress, shaken by the rising wave of abolitionist sentiment, passed a chilling decree: the “gag rule.”
Under its iron grip, any petition against slavery was to be silenced, smothered before it could even reach the ears of Congress. Lawmakers, fearful of division, decided to suppress these calls for justice, believing that the nation could not withstand such agitation.
But John Quincy Adams would not yield. He was a man of towering intellect and unshakable principle. A former president, a diplomat, a visionary – Adams knew better than anyone the true meaning of democracy. To silence the people was to suffocate the spirit of the nation. To crush their voices was to betray the very foundation upon which America was built.
Day after day, Adams fought. Alone in a crowded chamber, he rose and read the words that Congress had forbidden, defiantly voicing the unheard petitions of men and women who sought freedom for the enslaved.
He read their cries, their demands for justice. And with every word, he ignited a spark of resistance.
Pro-slavery members of Congress recoiled; they jeered, threatened, and even sought to expel him. But Adams did not flinch. For him, this was not merely a political stance – it was a moral crusade, a battle for the very soul of democracy.
After a long fight, in 1844, victory came.
The legacy of one man who refused to let democracy be silenced – endures.
A legacy that says that the freedom of speech and the right to protest the wrongs are the lifeblood of a nation that dares to call itself free.

The Balance
In the movie Avatar, as the humans attack the Nav’i forest, Jake Sully bows to Eywa in the forest with the roots and branches of eternal intelligence and prays to the formless Goddess to save Pandora and the Nav’is.
As he gets up and turns around, Neytiri informs him “Eywa never favors, for she is always in balance”.
The universe and nature find a way to balance itself.
That is what the 2024 US election did in the country.
The Landslide
In what is considered a landslide with a margin of close to 5 million popular votes and 312 electoral college votes, Trump's comeback not just delivered the Presidential victory, it brought the Senate and (as it seems right now) even a majority in the House is expected.
As of the time of writing, this is the result that we see right now.
All the battleground states went to Donald Trump in 2024. Something that is unprecedented. It shows very clearly that voters across the board had rejected Kamala Harris in states that reflected the nation's mood (since the electorate was a mix of both party's loyalists in almost equal numbers).
In short, it is a landslide!
Why did this happen?
Many voting groups abandoned Kamala Harris.
The demographic breakdown of the voting patterns tells an interesting tale.
This election unleashed a tectonic shift. Latino voters surged toward Trump, a stunning 12-point gain since 2020, leaving him with 45 percent to Harris's 53 percent. Meanwhile, whispers within the Democratic ranks are turning into alarm bells—the Black vote is slipping.
Trump’s Black support remained steady overall, ticking up just 1 point to 13 percent. But beneath the surface lies a widening chasm. In 2020, only 9 percent of Black women voted for Trump, compared to 19 percent of Black men. Now, Black male support for Trump has climbed to 21 percent, while Black female support dwindled to a paltry 7 percent. And yet, Harris continues to market herself as a Black woman—a label weighted by her complex lineage: an Indian mother and an estranged Black father.
Gender divides loom large across the board. Women leaned toward Harris, but the edge is blunted—down to 8 percent, from the 15-point lead Biden held just four years ago.
And the youth? Once a Democratic fortress, the youngest voters are shifting. In 2020, Biden commanded 60 percent of their vote to Trump’s 36. But this year, Trump has eaten into that base. The gap? Just 12 points now—54 percent for Harris, 43 percent for Trump. The Democratic stronghold has cracked. The tremors are real.
Here is another illustration.
Young people, Black men, Hispanics, and men in general have all abandoned the Kamala Harris ticket.
The White voters remained consistent in the two elections.
And if we dig deeper we find another shift.
Per a nationwide exit poll by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), less than 50% of voters backed the Vice President. This was a marked change from an estimated 65% to 70% that voted for Biden in 2020. (Source: In historic shift, American Muslim and Arab voters desert Democrats/Voice of America)
Was it just Kamala Harris that they abandoned or was it more than that?
Let us now understand the underlying shifting mindset due to extreme social frustration in the American population and the reasons for those shifts.
What is Democracy Indeed?
Democracy is a process. Not a factor of the results the process begets.
But for the Democrats that is exactly what it had become.
The process was not important anymore. Results were.
And it was ok to sow hate for and suggest that the opposing candidate should not be allowed to become the President.
All this for his bringing up the specter of election fraud which goes to the heart of any democracy. Instead of having a debate and a bipartisan investigation that went into the instances called out in a manner that was beyond any shadow of a doubt, the media and the establishment made the act of even discussing a possible election fraud in 2020 an indictment against one's democratic credentials.
If the democracy's fundamental aspect - election - is corrupted, then isn't it important to rectify that first? In fact, in any other real democracy, that would be a national emergency. What happens to the constitutional rules in that case?
How is that any different from what Trump said in his Truth Social post?
The election results almost showed that the electorate in the US repudiated the entire charge of the media against Trump. They somehow felt that the 2020 election was not conducted properly and wanted to go over and beyond the impact of any fraud this time around.
And they did.
Adulterating the Society
On August 1st, 2024, during the preliminary bout (round of 16), Italian boxer Angela Carini retreated to her corner within 46 seconds. She told her coach, Emanuel Renzini, that she was feeling extreme pain on her nose after a punch by Algeria’s trans boxer Imane Khelif. Khelif was fighting in the women's boxing championship in the Olympics. The Algerian boxer ultimately won the gold by defeating China's Yang Liu in the finals. After the quarter-final match, Khelif had credited the victory to Allah.
Khelif told reporters “I have been boxing for years in the International Boxing Association which has committed an injustice toward me,” qualifying, “But I have Allah by my side.” (Source: "‘Injustice’ : Boxer at Center of Gender Row Breaks Silence" / Daily Beast)
A leaked medical report of Khelif now suggests that "she" was a man with "internal testicles" and an "XY chromosome".
The report which was accessed by French journalist Djaffar Ait Aoudia, indicated that Khelif has a condition that impacts sexual development, often resulting in ambiguous genitalia and limiting secondary male characteristics. It said she had internal testicles and an XY chromosome makeup, which may signal a genetic condition known as 5-alpha reductase deficiency. (Source: "Imane Khelif, who won gold at Paris Olympics, ‘confirmed’ as a man in leaked medical reports" / Indian Express)
Pushing men in women's sports and restrooms is the direct offshoot of the fundamental confusion that has been created by the woke movement.
"Who is a woman?"
The obfuscation between sex and gender, where the latter was rendered into an obscure idea. With that, the Wokes were on track to do to the women today what the fanatic Christians did to women via witch hunts - destroy femininity.
But more importantly, the woke movement hit at the very root of normal existence. It mocked society with ideas so out of the scientific realm yet pushed in as "science" via the power of narratives.
All this was accomplished on the back of a complete media takeover.
The 'Twitter Files'
Twitter files unambiguously established the collaboration between the Democratic Party, America's intelligence agencies, and the social media and tech companies.
They showed how such a partnership effectively buried political and geopolitical critics and debates.
Whether it was the de-platforming of the sitting US President on Twitter - Donald Trump before he exited office in 2020 or banning Russian banks from SWIFT, canceling carefully crafted villains and rivals was quickly becoming the norm.
The swagger to go with it was without any challenge. The takeover so spectacular.
When Elon Musk acquired Twitter and converted it into X while firing 80% of the then workforce in the company, he challenged the takeover of a few who sought to control the world with their worldview.
Those who would beat for free speech cried foul.
For them, speech was free when they had the freedom while others had no voice. A platform to provide a voice to those without a voice without the acquiescence of the elites was an attack on free speech.
The problem was not that their speech was hindered. The problem was that now others had a voice as well.
Just that they considered an attack on their own freedoms.
And this became a national sport with all major democratic institutions creating a censorship industrial complex.
What was it?
Election Integrity Partnership (EIP) was established in July 2020 supposedly as a non-partisan coalition with a professed aim of identifying and mitigating misinformation related to voting and elections during the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
The partnership included the Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO), the University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public, Graphika, and the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab.
Under the guise of monitoring information and promoting free speech, they created a whole system of censoring data and voices they did not like or agree with.
A brief on EIP's four partners:
- Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO) - Please see that Stanford has removed the entire SIO page from its website. We have linked the URL from Archive.org.
- The University of Washington Center for an Informed Public (CIP) - Their proud mission is to resist strategic misinformation, promote an informed society, and strengthen democratic discourse
- Graphika - call themselves the "cartographers of the internet age". The company "leverages the power of artificial intelligence to create the world’s most detailed maps of social media landscapes". Its partners include - Harvard, Oxford, and DARPA (DARPA = CIA).
- The Atlantic Council - is heavily staffed by US intelligence (specifically the CIA) experts, for example:
- Matthew Burrows, Director of the Strategic Foresight Initiative at Atlantic Council, used to work for the CIA
- Stanley Sloan, a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, formerly worked at the CIA
- Markus Garlauskas, a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Atlantic Council, was a National Intelligence Officer (NIO) for North Korea on the National Intelligence Council (NIC).
- Ronald Marks, formerly at the CIA, is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council.
- Nicholas Eftimiades, formerly at CIA and DIA, is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Forward Defense practice of the Atlantic Council's Scowcroft Center for Strategy and Security.
The mandate was global, not just related to the US. Their goal was to curate the 2020 US election and its direction to obviate a result that they did not like.
So new semantics was created - "fake news", misinformation, disinformation etc. All were to be used to destroy the opposition at will.

You can check out the kind of "analysis" EIP 'researchers' were doing to bring down "inauthentic foreign networks".
The whole documentation is telling!
On November 6, 2023, the Committee on the Judiciary and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released a report titled Weaponization of "Disinformation": Pseudo-Experts and Bureaucrats – How the Federal Government Partners with Universities to Censor Americans' Political Speech.
The report summarizes the work of EIP very clearly.
So you see how this whole scenario worked? Let us illustrate it for you.
Vivek Ramaswamy's opening remarks in the 3rd Republican Primary Debate in our view were a turning point.
Vivek didn’t hold back. He took aim, calling out RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel for her catastrophic leadership—a record marked by failure. Then, with razor-sharp precision, he went further: he offered to yield his time, daring her to take the stage, to own the disaster, to resign.
Whether it was Donald Trump or Vivek Ramaswamy, one side of the political spectrum pushed on with a single demand: dismantle the "deep state" – root and branch.
The rest...the other side?
It is the deep state.
From then on public awareness of the "deep state" or the managerial class as Vivek called it and its extensive influence received a powerful boost. Those remarks changed the chessboard.
From that point onwards, the fight back against the entrenched power structures that cocked a snook at every aspect of American life started in real earnest.
The Invasion of the Illegals
The issue of undocumented illegals coming in and receiving government-funded support for healthcare, housing, and food, especially in a time when many American citizens are struggling, significantly impacted Trump’s chances.
His campaign leveraged this situation as a central argument for stricter immigration policies and reinforced a narrative of prioritizing “America First.”
The narrative of an “invasion” at the border has been a powerful theme in Trump’s campaign, and the situation with undocumented immigrants accessing healthcare, shelter, and food assistance backed Trump's argument.
New York City undertook a substantial $77 million emergency contract to house migrant families across 15 hotels in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. This large-scale initiative is designed to provide temporary shelter for the influx of migrant families arriving in the city, repurposing hotels as emergency shelters to accommodate their needs. (Source: Spectrum News)
The New York Times reveals that approximately 135 of New York City’s nearly 680 hotels are now housing illegal immigrants, resulting in a staggering loss of 16,532 hotel rooms. This shift signals more than just a loss in hospitality space; it reflects a city forced to repurpose its infrastructure, reorienting what was once bustling accommodation for visitors into emergency shelters for new arrivals. The implications for the city’s economy, tourism, and local communities ripple beyond the numbers, as New York grapples with the unprecedented demand on its resources and services. (Source: WRE News) The city government was paying as high as $185 a night per room!
The illegal migrants were also being extended health coverage.
A growing number of states are opening taxpayer-funded health insurance programs to immigrants, including those living in the U.S. without authorization, even as Republicans assail President Joe Biden over a dramatic increase in illegal crossings of the southern border. Eleven states and Washington, D.C., together provide full health insurance coverage to more than 1 million low-income immigrants regardless of their legal status, according to state data compiled by KFF Health News. Most aren't authorized to live in the U.S., state officials say. Enrollment in these programs could nearly double by 2025 as at least seven states initiate or expand coverage. In January, Republican-controlled Utah will start covering children regardless of immigration status, while New York and California will widen eligibility to cover more adults. (Source: "More states extend health coverage to immigrants even as issue inflames GOP" / NPR)
Yes, even Republican-led states have embraced the argument for health coverage on the grounds of humanity. And on the surface, who can argue against that?
But here’s the stark reality: over 27 million American citizens remain uninsured. Americans who have worked, contributed, and built this nation stand without access to basic healthcare. When resources are stretched thin, prioritizing coverage for non-citizens must be weighed against the needs of the citizens. The question isn’t just about humanity—it’s about fairness and responsibility to those within our own borders who continue to go without despite paying the taxes.
More than 8% of Americans did not have health insurance during the first months of 2024, according to new survey findings published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, breaking a streak of record-low uninsured rates following the COVID-19 pandemic. An estimated 27.1 million Americans of all ages were uninsured through March, according to the quarterly figures published Tuesday. The CDC publishes estimates on insurance coverage every three months based on results from the agency's National Health Interview Survey. (Source: CBS News)
All these things cost money.
Money that the taxpayers are providing.
All this impacted the views of the voters in a big way.
Response after Hurricane Helene
Hurricane Helene has emerged as one of the darkest chapters in recent American history, a tempest that rivaled even the wrath of Katrina. Unforgiving in its path, Helene unleashed a torrent of destruction upon Florida before sprawling across the southeastern United States.
Over 200 lives have been lost, and entire communities in North Carolina ripped from their roots and left reeling in its wake. Here, in the heart of its devastation, where over half the casualties were claimed, the storm’s fury has left an indelible scar.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s devastation across North Carolina, a fiery dispute has flared between SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and government agencies, with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) at the center. Power and communication lines lie crippled across swaths of the state, leaving millions cut off and the need for urgent assistance palpable.
Musk contends that SpaceX engineers, armed with vital Starlink terminals and essential supplies, are being blocked from delivering aid to these isolated areas. FEMA, however, pushes back, asserting it has done nothing to obstruct relief efforts.
The clash has only intensified as both sides wrestle for control over who should lead and shape the response to this mounting crisis.
Elon Musk’s X Post shared the things on the ground in real time.
The confrontation between SpaceX and FEMA became a focal point of the Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Elon Musk's accusations of government incompetence and obstruction also ignited a firestorm of controversy, drawing attention to the challenges of coordinating disaster response between public and private entities.
Most importantly, it underlined the narrative that the Democrats were anti-US citizens.
The Kamala Harris-led ecosystem was anti-America in people's minds and the way things have happened validated that feeling every day.
January 6th was a symptom
On January 6th, 2021 a mob attacked the US Capitol. They were called insurrectionists and Donald Trump was declared as their instigator.
Despite Trump's clarifications to the contrary, he was declared the resident fascist who wanted to steal power after the election loss.
While it was easy to villainize everyone who entered the Capitol, there was more to it. That it was a symptom of the frustration of some of the populace was completely discounted.
Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican Presidential candidate articulated it very accurately.
"You want to know what caused January 6? Is pervasive censorship in this country in the lead-up to January 6. You tell people in this country they cannot speak, that is when they scream. You tell people they cannot scream, that is when they tear things down."
Vivek Ramaswamy shares how constant lying and widespread censorship of free speech and shutting people down caused a situation in the country that exploded with the march to the Capitol.
Instead of investigating and doing soul-searching for what had caused such a major upheaval in the country, clear lines were drawn.
Enemies were declared and discussions were further suppressed.
See for example the case of the person who came to be known as the "Q'Anon Shaman". From the video footage, which was not shared before this Tucker Carlson report, seems to be enjoying the patronage of the police within the Capitol building who are giving him a tour of the place. Only to be later labeled as a terrorist of the Bin Laden category who "should have been shot".
It was almost as if the entire script had been known and the events of January 6th were the final piece of the puzzle.
Then came arguably the most shameful episodes of assassination attempts on the "opposition candidate" that was not just normalized but even mocked!
Physical Elimination Attempts
During the 2024 U.S. presidential campaign, former President Donald Trump was the target of two significant assassination attempts:
1. Butler, Pennsylvania Rally Shooting (July 13, 2024):
On the evening of July 13, 2024, presidential candidate Donald Trump addressed a large rally at the Butler Farm Show Grounds in Butler, Pennsylvania. Thousands of supporters gathered, and the area was ostensibly secured by the Secret Service.
Trump took the stage at 6:05 PM, and eight minutes into his speech, a sudden burst of gunshots shattered the event’s atmosphere. Trump was discussing his immigration policies when a bullet struck his right ear, causing visible bleeding. The cheering crowd erupted into chaos as Secret Service agents quickly moved him under the podium, later hustling him into a waiting limo in a series of awkward maneuvers.
Tragically, a spectator named Corey Comperatore was killed, and two others sustained critical injuries in the attack. Though the shooter was neutralized by the Secret Service, onlookers had spotted him three minutes before the shooting began, with one bystander even capturing footage of local law enforcement walking near the building from where the shots were fired.
Donald Trump had been shot and wounded in his upper right ear by Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Crooks fired eight rounds from an AR-15–style rifle from the roof of a nearby building.
The subsequent events raised even more doubts about the intelligence agencies and their suspected lack of professionalism and even complete lack of competence.
Florida Golf Course Attempt (September 13, 2024): Exactly two months after the first shooting, on September 13, 2024, another shooting happened at the Trump International Golf Club in Florida.
Secret Service agents apprehended Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old man armed with an AK-47-style rifle equipped with a scope. Routh was discovered hiding in bushes along the golf course, approximately 400-500 yards from Trump, who was present at the club.
The Secret Service agent noticed a gun barrel protruding from the bushes, leading to Routh's arrest. (Source: What we know about Ryan Wesley Routh, suspect in Trump assassination attempt / Washington Examiner)
Strangely, even after the required area combing, the perpetrator was not caught earlier. How did that happen?
The overwhelming message that the narratives and the almost normalizing of these shootings gave was that it was ok. Why? Because it was Donald Trump.
And the Democratic commentators and even Majority Leader of the United States Senate, Chuck Schumer seemed to relish Trump being a target of an operation.
This election was also a period where the United States was sliding into the Pakistani style of governance.
If one doesn't like the opposition, go ahead and kill him.
It was not just an insult to America, it had betrayed every thread of democratic tradition in the US.
Then came the demonic scenes on October 7, 2023 when Hamas launched a large-scale assault on Israel, marking one of the most devastating days in the nation's history.
Normalizing Demonic Terror
Around 6:30 a.m. on October 7, 2023 , 5000 rockets were launched in a matter of 20 minutes. This was a diversion.
Over 3,000 Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli territory using trucks, motorcycles, bulldozers, speedboats, and paragliders. They particularly ravaged the attendees at the Re'im music festival near Kibbutz Re'im. Leaving over 260 dead. 1,139 individuals were killed, including 797 civilians and 379 security personnel. Many were beheaded in cold blood.
240 unfortunate people - both soldiers and civilians - were taken hostage.
Some of the dead were also taken to further mutilate and insult their bodies.
Babies were killed in microwave ovens. Women were raped and brutalized. Kids shot. Dogs shot point blank.
Everyone was not just killed but butchered - women, children, toddlers, and elderly - reminiscent of ISIS-style terrorism.
One would have thought that such barbarism would provoke extreme outrage everywhere. What, however, the Americans saw was a planned and deliberate attempt to subvert the social consciousness in one university after another to whitewash everything that had happened on October 7th. Fake news and counter-narratives were conjured up.
What was clearly the lowest that the world had seen in recent times, was normalized.
Posters of October 7th victims and hostages became a sport of sorts on the US University campuses.
The American college campuses became dens of rampant anti-semitism.
This open hatred for Jews in the US campuses continued into 2024 as well.
The media did not do enough to call out the bastardization of the American moral fabric in its universities and colleges. It was almost as if American youth were being turned on the society itself.
The arguments started coming out, as is usual in such terror cases, that the larger Palestinian population is different from Hamas. That was the argument against the Israeli action in Gaza.
But is there any truth in that? Anecdotally, we all remember the brutalization of the half-clothed dead woman in the back of a pickup by normal Palestinians in Gaza. However, studies have shown that an overwhelming majority of Palestinians share Hamas's goals.
Media continues - even till today - to hold Israel "accountable" for the attack on Gaza, but does not fully call out the perfidy of Hamas and Hezbollah in how they use civilians to unleash anti-semitic attacks.
The defense of Hamas and its operation on October 7th despite the inhuman acts they did and worse glorification of those war crimes against humanity broke the American consciousness down.
Lack of Trust and the Fall of the Traditional Media
We have discussed the larger malaise that afflicts journalism and media. How media of today is completely divorced from society and the common layperson.
This differentiation breeds a complete lack of trust.
Because of this lack of complete trust in the government-controlled media amongst American voters, new tech tools like podcasts and newsletters gained popularity.
85% of registered voters say that they trust podcasts more than any other news source, including newspapers, TV, radio, and social media!
According to Voxtopica’s new survey, The Podcast Influence: The Listening Habits of Registered Voters, 85% of registered voters surveyed trust podcasts more than any other news and information source, including newspapers (print or digital), TV (broadcast or cable), AM/FM radio, and social media. This proves significant, with 78% of respondents agreeing that podcasts influence them to learn more about issues or topics in the news, and 63% agreeing that podcasts change their opinions on issues or topics in the news. (Source: "Registered Voters Trust Podcasts Above All Other Media" / Podnews)
Those who have the humility to see the writing on the wall can easily discern an epidemic in the country. Of a complete lack of trust!
More importantly, the voters suspected that a cabal of elites who wanted to control the messaging were working to silence anyone who had a different viewpoint.
In private conversations with many Americans, it was this aspect of being lied to that stood out.
Apart from the rampant inflation.
Inflation and More Lies
The report from the US Department of Labor shows that the inflation in 12 months up to November 2020 was 1.6%.
But look at what Kamala Harris tells Dana Bash on what the Biden/Harris administration did with inflation. So they brought inflation down from 1.6% to less than 3%.
How is that for an accomplishment?!
No one countered those lies.
In fact, Democrat apologists like Rachel Maddow were saying things that ran completely counter to the combined experience of the electorate.
Despite the impact on everyone's monthly budget and grocery bills, people were regularly told that the economy was doing just fine.
A massive hit on their incomes and lives while lying establishment and its cohorts created a tremendous sense of frustration.
All these combined to create a situation where the voters were ready to deliver an unprecedented verdict.
Despite his managed impeachment, multiple indictments (based on unprecedented and weak legal grounds), conviction, relentless verbal attacks from corporate media, and not one but two assassination attempts, Donald Trump achieved a landmark victory by converting a sweeping rejection of the ruling class with his election win.
On the election night Republican commentator Scott Jennings shared what the record mandate for Trump really meant.
- to get the economy working again for regular working-class Americans
- fix immigration try to get crime under control
- try to reduce the chaos in the world
These regular working-class Americans were called "garbage" and "Nazis". They weren't.
Jennings very correctly called the results a "revenge of just a regular old working-class American - the anonymous American - who has been crushed insulted condescended to."
All these years they've been told to stay silent whenever they voice concerns about the issues affecting their own lives. Their hurt was mocked, their voice ridiculed or worse caricatured and their concern termed "fascism".
This is what Vivek Ramaswamy had warned against during his discussion with Tucker.
Electorate screamed indeed.
Those were the major reasons why Trump won the landslide he did.
What does Trump's victory mean for the US?
The anti-Trump hate is not over.
Just yesterday, there were massive protests against Trump have already started. The opposition wants to over-rule on the streets that was decided in the election.
Meanwhile, those who are associated with the "Deep State" seem to be already plotting different scenarios.
In any normal democracy, this would be a strict red line.
Officials are now gaming out various scenarios as they prepare for an overhaul of the Pentagon. “We are all preparing and planning for the worst-case scenario, but the reality is that we don’t know how this is going to play out yet,” one defense official said. (Source: Pentagon officials discussing how to respond if Trump issues controversial orders / CNN)
Bureaucracy reports to the elected representative of the people. Not the other way around.
Given this, let us analyze further. Many other things are likely to occur.
Most important is the recalibration of the national direction with respect to Security, Economy, unpopular political stances, and Global Engagement.
- Greater Economic Protectionism: A focus on self-sufficiency in manufacturing, energy, and technology, resulting in economic policies designed to shield the U.S. from global competition and dependency.
- Shifts in Social Policy: Emphasis on traditional values and conservative social policies, reshaping the educational landscape to eliminate the woke influence that has seeped in, and prioritizing security in immigration and cultural policy. This reduction of woke influence will also impact the controlling role of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that are a front for control of businesses by a few.
- More Selective Global Engagement: Reduced interventionism, a shift toward military investments in technology, and a focus on homeland security. This will lead to a more pragmatic stance in global affairs.
- Intensified Political Divides: A continuation and possible deepening of domestic polarization, with heightened tensions between federal policies and strongly Democrat states like California and New York, potentially leading to intensified calls for state-level autonomy.
Let us look at some of the things in more detail.
Economic and Social Impact at Home
- Inflation and Cost of Living: If tariffs on foreign goods are imposed to protect domestic industries, consumers might face higher prices, contributing to inflation. While the administration could counter this with incentives and subsidies for American-made goods, balancing inflation with protectionist policies could be challenging. That discussion we had regarding the de-coupling of the US and Chinese economies will happen even more strongly.
- Labor Market Shifts: Policies favoring domestic manufacturing may create new blue-collar jobs, especially in states reliant on industrial and energy sectors. However, it could also lead to labor shortages in high-skilled industries if immigration policies limit access to skilled workers from abroad.
Immigration and Border Security
- Enhanced Border Controls: Border security and immigration control are key pillars of Trump’s campaign promises. His administration would likely prioritize constructing additional barriers, implementing stricter immigration policies, and enhancing border patrol funding.
- Workforce and Immigration Policy: Trump’s team would likely reduce pathways for undocumented immigrants and pursue policies to limit asylum applications. At the same time, there may be targeted immigration policies favoring skilled labor in fields where the U.S. needs expertise, such as technology and healthcare.
So, the coming days won't be easy for people within the US.
Now, for the larger picture - Where is the world headed? Let us look at it together.
What does Trump's Presidency mean for the World?
The biggest impact will be the further strengthening of a movement that has gained steam - Multipolarity.
The other impacts will be a derivative of that one global transformation that is bound to happen.
- Rise of Multipolar Alliances: China and the Middle East would fill the gap left by a less engaged U.S., forming new alliances with European countries. This could lead to a multipolar world where Europe balances relationships with the U.S., China, and Middle Eastern powers to address its economic and security needs.
- U.S. Influence over Europe Diminishes: As Trump’s administration deprioritizes NATO and reduces trade concessions, U.S. influence over Europe would decrease. European countries might seek new alliances and distance themselves from American policies, reducing U.S. leverage in European affairs.
- Increased Global Competition over Resources and Influence: With U.S., China, and Middle Eastern powers competing for influence, Europe would become a central arena for soft power and economic competition. This would intensify global competition for resources, infrastructure investments, and political partnerships, especially in energy, technology, and defense.
Let us now look at different regions and see how
Germany’s Economic Collapse: Causes and Immediate Consequences
Germany’s economy is the backbone of the European Union, and a potential collapse could be triggered by a combination of internal political instability, high energy prices due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and weakened industrial output.
With these stressors, Germany could face challenges that can destabilize that nation leading to rising inflation, manufacturing slowdowns, and supply chain disruptions.
- Ripple Effect on the Eurozone: Germany’s economic stability supports the euro, and its collapse would likely weaken the currency, causing ripple effects across the eurozone. This could lead to high inflation, reduced investment, and potential recessions in smaller EU economies.
- Increased Political Instability: Chancellor Scholz fired his Finance Minister Christian Lindner which led to the subsequent collapse of the three-party coalition government. Germany’s political landscape is now about to collapse to address economic issues. The public could lose faith in pro-EU, centrist parties, leading to the rise of populist or nationalist movements, similar to those seen in Italy, France, and Hungary.
- Fragmentation of the EU: A weakened Germany would reduce cohesion within the EU, leading to potential political fragmentation. Other countries may reconsider their commitment to EU policies, particularly if they believe the EU is no longer capable of addressing economic or security concerns.
Europe’s Economic Future under Trump’s “America First” Policy
A Trump administration would likely adopt a less supportive stance toward Europe, placing less emphasis on NATO and EU stability. Instead, the focus would shift to American economic interests, further straining U.S.-Europe relations.
- Reduced Economic Support and Trade Tensions: Trump’s team would likely focus on negotiating bilateral trade deals over multilateral agreements, potentially leading to increased tariffs on European imports. This would exacerbate economic stress in Europe, particularly for Germany, which relies heavily on exports to the U.S. market.
- Encouraging Europe’s Self-Sufficiency: While Trump might reduce U.S. support for NATO and other European security arrangements, he could encourage Europe to become more self-sufficient. This would lead to increased defense spending across European countries, potentially worsening the economic crisis as budgets are redirected from social programs to defense.
- Shift in European Alliances: European countries, particularly France and Germany, may seek to strengthen alliances with non-U.S. partners, such as China or Middle Eastern nations, to diversify their trade relationships and reduce dependence on American markets. This could lead to a shift in geopolitical alignments within Europe.
The consequence of NATO’s dominance has been a stark de-arming of European nations, leaving countries like Germany disarmed and strategically vulnerable. But that era is shifting. Germany is once again building its own military muscle, and the European military-industrial complex is rising from the shadows. Should NATO weaken, Europe will be thrust into a new era—one where nations reclaim the power to arm themselves, forge independent foreign policies, and perhaps realign their loyalties.
For the U.S. military-industrial complex, which hasn’t yet succeeded with Trump, stirring one or more European powers might just be the path forward. And what has NATO’s U.S.-driven influence delivered?
A weakened Germany, whose leaders have gambled their nation’s existence for a contrived war in Ukraine, severing ties with Russia and swallowing the Nordstream sabotage in silence.
Europe’s future is now a battleground of interests, a crucible of forces both internal and external.
As this geopolitical chessboard rearranges, the moves that follow will undoubtedly shape the continent’s destiny.
Middle East’s Growing Influence as a European Partner
In the last Trump rule, Middle East completely transformed.
That happened not because Trump administration did something pathbreaking in Middle East. But it happened because the American intelligence agencies did not do anything to interfere.
That is the key.
When they were allowed to work on their own, things automatically happened in a positive direction.
As Europe seeks alternatives to Russian energy and faces strained relations with the U.S., the Middle East’s role in European energy and economic security would grow.
- Increased European Reliance on Middle Eastern Energy: With high energy prices and limited supply options, European nations may turn to Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE to secure stable energy supplies. This would increase Europe’s economic dependence on the Middle East, shaping a new economic alliance.
- Weakening of Traditional Alliances: Saudi Arabia and Israel’s rapprochement signifies a realignment away from the region’s traditional camps. For decades, the Arab world has largely taken a unified stance against Israel, tied to the Palestinian cause and solidarity with Arab identity. Saudi Arabia’s shift disrupts this longstanding alliance, which could weaken Arab unity and alter dynamics in bodies like the Arab League. This pivot reflects a larger trend in the region of pragmatism over ideology, where shared interests—namely countering Iran and securing economic growth—now outweigh past ideological stances.
- Iranian Counterbalance and the "New Axis": At the heart of Saudi-Israeli collaboration lies a common adversary: Iran. Both nations view Iran’s ambitions, especially in nuclear development and regional influence via proxies, as an existential threat. This shared threat perception has driven them closer, uniting Saudi Arabia with Israel and by extension with the U.S., and possibly with other Sunni-majority Gulf nations, forming a powerful counterbalance to Iran’s axis with Syria, Hezbollah, and certain Shia groups in Iraq. This "new axis" could drive further polarization in the Middle East, hardening lines between pro-Iran and anti-Iran factions and raising the stakes of conflicts across the region.
- Pressure on Palestinian Policy: Saudis have now shared how they are not as much invested in the Palestine issue as it has been made out to be.
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that he does not personally care about what he referred to as the "Palestinian issue", according to a report in The Atlantic. (Source: Middle East Eye)
So the Middle East will not be the same again.
China’s Strategic Position Amidthe European Economic Decline
China would likely seek to expand its influence in Europe, viewing Germany’s economic troubles and U.S. disengagement as opportunities to strengthen trade ties and political relationships.
- Decoupling of China-US economies: Under Trump, the U.S.-China decoupling ignited a seismic shift, fracturing decades of intertwined economies. Supply chains strained, industries repositioned, and the world’s two largest economies began a high-stakes, relentless divergence—a battle of sovereignty, influence, and survival that reshapes global order. Europe faces a crossroads, caught between U.S. demands for alignment and China’s economic lure. Decoupling pressures threaten its industries, forcing tough choices that could redefine European sovereignty.
- Increased Economic Partnerships with Europe: China might offer trade agreements, investments, and loans to struggling European economies, particularly in infrastructure, manufacturing, and technology. This would allow China to solidify its presence in Europe, particularly in nations like Italy, Greece, and Eastern European countries that have previously engaged in the Belt and Road Initiative.
- Strategic Technology and Infrastructure Investments: China could target investments in critical European infrastructure and technology sectors, including telecommunications, logistics, and green energy. Such investments would enable China to extend its influence over European economies, gaining strategic control over key industries.
- Balancing U.S. Influence: As European reliance on U.S. support wanes, China may position itself as a balancing power, advocating for a more multipolar world order. European countries could be more receptive to China’s proposals on global governance and economic policies, given the reduced support from the U.S.
By the time Trump's rule gets over in 2028, the world will be a very different one.
More importantly, we would have pushed the World War III by a few years.
